This heavy duty, solid steel pruner has a built-in wire cutter and a self-sharpening blade. The blade is rated SK5 Japanese steel. It cuts up to 2.5cm (1") diameter twigs and branches.  It is ideal for cutting live stems as it makes a very clean cut, and features a sap groove, that channels sap and gum away from the cutting edge.
